One of the questions many Veterans have is hot to get a Veteran ID Card. They want the ID card for various reasons. The most common is so they can take advantage of Veteran discounts. Many retailers offer discounts for Veterans, but admittedly carrying around a copy of your DD214 can be cumbersome.

Is there a I.D. card that shows a person’s disability rating?
No, there is not an ID card which shows a person’s disability rating. If you need proof of your disability rating, you can download a letter from VA.gov showing your disability award and it will have your rating on it.
