7hills offers a Day Care Center on Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. At the center, individuals and families in crisis can receive to get daily needs met and help in developing a plan got become self-sufficient. 7hills also operates limited housing to aid those who are experiencing homelessness.
The Arkansas Veterans Village works to provide backup to the VA transitional bedding by providing vouchers for 1-5 weeks at a local motel for veterans who are experiencing Homelessness. Contact them at the above number for more information.

The Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Grant serves eligible low-income Veterans experiencing homelessness by providing financial assistance to help them get into permanent housing as well as intensive case management services to aid veterans towards stability.

The Arkansas Department of Veteran Affairs operates two state Veteran cemetaries, two state Veteran nursing homes, and administers the Veteran Service Officer network with VSO's located in each Arkansas county. The ADVA serves as a primary advocate for Arkansas Veterans.

The Next Step Homeless Services gives homeless veterans a safe place from the street along with providing a myriad of serices for the veteran and/or family. These services include hot meals, job counseling, life-skills training and bicycle rental to name just a few.

The HUD-VASH program is a partnership between HUD and the VA. It is a case management program which offers rental assistance voucher to eligible Veterans with the goal of helping Veterans and their families move out of homelessness. Your local VSO can provide more information.
HUD and the VA also offer a Permanent Housing program designed to help Veterans who are homeless to find and maintain safe, affordable permanent housing. The key difference between these two programs is that the qualifications for admission and no exclusions concerning income limits. Please talk to your local VSO for more details or to see if you qualify for either program.
